I believe in the infinite possibilities in all of us.
It is my mission to guide people to optimal wellness and "Human Excellence."
To attain optimal health and personal success, we must do a few simple things.
| 1. |
Adopt the wellness lifestyle. |
| 2. |
Continually educate ourselves on the latest advances in Western and Eastern practices for health and wellness. |
| 3. |
Demand that our healthcare providers acknowledge the benefits of integrative and complementary medicine and health strategies. |
| 4. |
Integrate strength training, flexibility, aerobic conditioning and mind-body practices into our weekly regimen of wellness. |
| 5. |
Improve our diets by eating organic foods when possible and using proper supplementation to ensure there are no gaps in the diet. |
| 6. |
Integrate naturopathic, homeopathic, Chinese medicine,
ayurvedic, bodywork and chiropractic treatments with Western medicine to ensure a comprehensive approach to your overall health. |
| 7. |
Continually ask ourselves, "What is great about this and how can I make it even better?" |
| 8. |
Each day, learn at least one new word and one new fact about life. |
| 9. |
Hire a coach |
| 10. |
Pause....... learn to enjoy the present moment! |
When we build a house, many tools are used. Not all people are masters at using each tool. Your body is far more complex than a house. It would be foolish to think that one methodology, or one field of medicine (or wellness) could possibly provide all the answers.
We must ask ourselves each day, "What can I do today to ensure I will improve my life, improve my health, learn something new, and contribute to those I truly care about?"
Since I have asked myself these questions (and applied them), my life has become more fulfilled, more exciting and certainly more rewarding.
I challenge all of you to do the same.
Enjoy your health!
